FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The Manatee County Supervisor of Elections office announced today that Mark Stanoch has submitted the required number of valid candidate petition signatures to qualify as a Republican candidate for Manatee County Commission District 1. He is the first candidate in the competitive District 1 race to reach this milestone.
“It was an enormous effort that could only have been accomplished through the dedication and teamwork of an outstanding group of volunteers,” said Stanoch. “Together, we visited more than 2,000 homes across the district and gained valuable insight, encouragement, and support from our neighbors.”
A Manatee County resident for almost 20 years and a former executive with IBM and Dell, Stanoch is seeking to fill the District 1 seat left vacant following the untimely passing of former Commissioner Carol Felts earlier this year. His campaign focuses on promoting responsible economic development while preserving the rural character that makes Manatee County an exceptional place to live, work, and play.
